David joined Movability in 2026, where he supports transportation demand management (TDM) programs such as Mobility Camps, GoGrants, and SchoolPool. He is passionate about addressing the housing and transportation challenges facing Central Texas.

He has spent years advocating for affordable housing and safe, multimodal transportation with local nonprofits including AURA, Farm & City, and Safe Streets Austin. In addition to his advocacy work, David serves on the City of Austin’s Zoning and Platting Commission.

After earning a second degree in urban planning, he has worked in public involvement, Vision Zero initiatives, and public transportation. He enjoys helping people explore alternatives to driving alone that meet their needs while contributing to a more sustainable and livable Austin.
