We're Proud of our Partner Members!

Several of Movability's Partner members are going above and beyond to help the Central Texas community, and we want to sing their praises!

Capital Metro is an essential service, and is still operating - although the agency is urging people to use transit only when necessary, and has modified its level of service to reflect a smaller ridership. To more safely serve those who rely on and work in transit, Capital Metro has waived fares for the month of April. Not collecting fares means riders are able to maintain physical distance from other riders and operators.

Capital Metro is also partnering with H-E-B and the Central Texas Food Bank to ensure its MetroAccess clients receive essential home goods and groceries through Help at Home kits, which include shelf-stable items such as vegetables, beans, soup, fruit, tuna and peanut butter. Learn more here.

Revel is offering free membership for healthcare workers, working with local restaurants to provide free rides to delivery drivers, and working with the Austin Transportation Department to help with their initiatives around Austin social services.

Seven One Seven Parking at 301 Congress has waived April’s parking costs to all existing Affordable Parking Program participants in light of the City’s COVID 19 social distancing shutdown.

Austin B-Cycle is offering free 3-days passes using the code ATX512. Bikes are a great way to get around all the time, and right now they also let you get around while social distancing! B-Cycle is committed to precautionary measures to protect the health of their riders and staff, and is:

  • Increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting all B-Cycle bikes and stations.
  • Staff members will use protective measures including gloves, hand sanitizer, regular hand washing, workspace disinfecting, and isolating with any signs of illness.
  • Closing from 10PM - 6AM to allow for additional cleaning.

MOD Bikes is also an essential business since it provides transportation, and is remaining open during the shelter-in-place order. The store is changing its operations a bit to do their part in reducing the spread of COVID-19:

  • Hours of operation will be 10a-5p Tuesday-Sunday until further notice.

  • Store capacity will be limited to a maximum of 2 people at a time.

  • MOD Bikes will offer curbside pick-up as well as free delivery within 5 miles from its South First headquarters.

  • The store will continue to offer free shipping of electric bikes within the continental United States and assemble, test, and sanitize all orders prior to shipping.

  • Free returns and exchanges on all e-bikes is available within 7 days of receiving your bike, allowing for a risk-free experience and to make sure you’re on the best bike to fit your needs.
