Return to Work, Not to Traffic

For almost as long as the COVID-19 pandemic has been upturning daily life, people have been making predictions about a return to commuting routines.

There have been a few false starts, but more and more people who had been working exclusively remotely are now returning to in-person workplaces. If you're feeling the frustration of traffic now, we have some not-so-great news: unless more people shift their commutes from drive-alone, peak hour trips it's going to get a lot worse.

That's because more employers and residents have moved to Central Texas in the past two years - and because major construction projects for Central Austin I-35 and Project Connect will break ground close to each other.

While the end result of those infrastructure projects will be great for the region, the work will lead to some major traffic disruption. That means now is the time to make a plan to get yourself and your employees connected with commute options. Don't know where to start, or wondering what options are even available?
